Friday Update - January 28th

Good Morning,

As I look outside today I think to myself – “Is Spring coming?”  The sun is shining and it seems like it should be the end to winter and the beginning of Spring where new things grow and prosper.  I believe that we are all feeling that it is time to move ahead from a place where the pandemic has taken up so much space in our lives to reconnecting with our families, loved ones, the community and the environment.

Even though we are still experiencing difficult times we need to ensure that kindness and respect are still qualities and characteristics that we cherish and practice.  We all will be back to “normal” soon and will be experiencing all those things that bring us joy and happiness but until then we must continue to be hopeful and treat all members of our community with love and respect.  The children and families of St’a7mes School have continued to support each other and we have learned so much from our children.  Being resilient in these times and flexible to change can be hard but can be done.  As this pandemic continues to evolve please remember that change and growth can come out of difficult times and kindness, love and respect can be the foundation we use to water that growth.

Enjoy your weekend!
