Friday Update - December 3rd

Good Afternoon,

As we get closer to the holidays and this year comes to an end, please take some time to reflect on the past year and how you feel about the new year coming.  We all can admit that the past 18 months have been difficult, with a world-wide pandemic, forest fires and flooding.  It seems that this year has brought so many difficult moments for many of our families and families from across the globe.

However, we must not dwell on the negative things that have happened but look to the many positives that we have accomplished together as a community.   The power of a community can overcome any issue or difficulty this world throws at us.  Our school community is strong and healthy and we can rely on each other’s strength as we move forward into a new year.

We are a kind and caring community that respects and values each other.  As we near the holidays, I would ask that you continue to talk with your children about how kindness can change the world and help so many who are struggling.  Children who understand and are empathetic to others, create the most amazing environments for everyone.  Help your children share their kindness with those less fortunate during the holiday season and share their most incredible gifts with the world.

Have a safe and wonderful weekend!
